Knit, Purl, Pray

9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
2nd. and 4th. Saturday of the Month

We will be making blankets for Hospice instead of Knitting. If you don't know how to knit but want to help here is a way for any crafter to help; Bev Whitmore will be showing us how to make Tie Blankets.

You will need (2) 1 ½ yards of Anti-Pile Fleece, a good pair of scissors, and a 4x4 square of cardboard.

Joann's has been having a sale on both the fabric by the yard and there are also Kits. You will need to go by and see what is on sale this week.

We hope to see everyone there. You don't have to be a UMW member if you want to join this activity. The blankets will be donated to Hospice.

XYZs Senior Fellowship

The XYZ Club met Thursday, March 3, for a covered dish luncheon. The program was given by Joy Falk speaking on "Eleven Things I Thought I Would Never Do, But Did."

United Methodist Women

Join us on March 24th for our monthly meeting. Our Program will be 'Hospice Support' with our speaker- Ann Farmer. The Service Project will be donations of Prayer Shawls with Pastor Bob leading us in devotion and the 'Blessing' of the shawls. Please join us 7:00 pm in Natalie Robson's home. Car pooling from the church is always available for meetings held outside the church. Please contact Marietta Abbott, Arlene McCloskey or Susan Oglesby if you need transportation.
